Like many websites, we also use “cookies,” and other automated tools to obtain certain types of information when your web browser accesses our application. Though such information will typically be used in an aggregated way to improve our products and services, some information may be used to personalize your experience, or to offer you products and services specifically based on your preferences and usage.
Information We Collect From Your Social Networking Site: When you use DoSurfIn on a social networking site or when you connect to a social networking site through the Site, we may record information regarding your use of the application. We may also collect other information that is visible on your social networking site when permitted by that social networking site’s Terms of Use as well as collecting additional information that you chose to allow your social networking site to provide to DoSurfIn. However, we do not give these third parties (other than our subsidiaries and affiliates) an independent right to share or use your personal information.
When is information Shared?

Information about our users is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share customer information only as compatible with the purposes described above, and when we have your permission or as described in this section.

DoSurfIn Subsidiaries: We may share your information with our subsidiaries and affiliates that we own or control but only if those entities are either subject to this Privacy Policy or follow practices at least as protective as those described in this Privacy Policy.

This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction purposes. This does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing personal information from customers for commercial purposes in violation of this Privacy Policy.

Cookies

Like many websites, we use “cookies” to collect information. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computer’s hard disk for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies for two purposes. First, we utilize persistent cookies to save your registration ID and login password for future logins to the Services. Second, we utilize session ID cookies to enable certain features of the Services, to better understand how you interact with the Services and to monitor aggregate usage by DoSurfIn Users and web traffic routing on the Services. Unlike persistent cookies, session cookies are deleted from your computer when you log off from the Services and then close your browser. Third party advertisers on the Services may also place or read cookies on your browser. You can instruct your browser, by changing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit. If you do not accept cookies, however, you may not be able to use all portions or functionalities of the Services.

Emailing Via a DoSurfIn Account

As part of the Services, DoSurfIn Subscribers may communicate with DoSurfIn Subscribers and non-registered users through use of their accounts. Where DoSurfIn Subscribers have selected the option of adding one or more email addresses to an online form, the message they create in the corresponding template will be sent from DoSurfIn to those email addresses on their behalf. These email addresses will be stored in the address book the DoSurfIn Subscriber creates and will be used only for the purpose of sending the email communication to the addressee.

Phishing

Identity theft and the practice currently known as “phishing” are of great concern to DoSurfIn. Safeguarding information to help protect you from identity theft is a top priority. We do not and will not, at any time, request your credit card information, your account ID, login password, or national identification numbers in a non-secure or unsolicited e-mail or telephone communication. For more information about phishing, visit the Federal Trade Commission’s website.

Changing or Deleting Your Information

All Subscribers may review, update, correct or delete the Personal Information in their registration profile by changing the applicable information in their account settings or, for Services that are hosted on a social networking site, by changing the applicable information in their profile page. If you completely delete all such information, then your account may become deactivated. If you would like us to delete your record in our system, please contact us and we will attempt to accommodate your request if we do not have any legal obligation to retain the record. See below for privacy contact information.

Security

DoSurfIn is very concerned with safeguarding your information. We employ administrative, physical and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. We will make any legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored “personal data” (as defined in applicable state statutes on security breach notification) to you via email or conspicuous posting on the Services in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, insofar as consistent with (i) the legitimate needs of law enforcement or (ii) any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity of the data system.

International Transfer

Your information may be transferred to – and maintained on – computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, DoSurfIn transfers Personal Information to the United States and processes it there and your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

Third-Party Advertising Companies

We may use third-party advertising companies to serve ads on our site and on Services. Our system and the third-party advertising technology uses information derived from cookies on your hard drive you use to target advertising. In addition, our advertisers may use other third-party advertising technology to target advertising on other sites. In the course of advertisements being served to you, a unique third-party cookie or cookies may be placed on your computer. Similarly, third-party advertising companies may provide us with pixel tags (also called “clear gifs” or “beacons”) to help manage and optimize our online advertising. Beacons enable us to recognize a browser’s cookie when a browser visits the site on which the beacon is located, and to learn which banner ads bring users to a given site.

DoSurfIn does not provide any personal information to third-party advertising companies. Note, however, that if an advertiser asks DoSurfIn to show an advertisement to users with certain characteristics (for example, women ages 18-24) or a segment of that group (for example, women ages 18-24 who have viewed certain categories of content) and you respond to that advertisement, the third-party advertising company may conclude that you have the characteristics of the audience that they are trying to reach.

Our Policy Toward Children Under 13

The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete such information from our files.
